A strip club spent the day cleaning up damage from a driver’s mistake. Police say two cars collided on the access road at IH-10 and Council Saturday morning. One car pulled out in front of the other causing the white car to swerve and hit the sign at the Allstars strip club. No one was hurt.

Cedar Hill residents had been rallying against the owners of the company, who they deemed “slumlords” of the building at 1296 State St. because they claimed the rooming house wasn’t safe and drew crime, drug use and prostitution.
Immediately after the owner of Diamond Properties withdrew the application to the Board of Zoning Appeals to legalize the 13-unit rooming house, which was originally intended to be a four-family apartment building, residents vowed to put pressure on the city to shut them down or push them into a legal situation that wouldn’t be “a tumor to the community.”

I finally had a chance to watch the season premiere of the seventh season of America’s Got Talent, with auditions from Los Angeles and St. Louis.
Here’s my thoughts:
First of all, I don’t know if I’m going to like Howard Stern as a judge – he talks way too much. Secondly, I was really disappointed with all the bad acts we saw to start the show. Thirdly, judge Sharon Osbourne may get lost a the judges table with Howard having to talk all the time and Howie Mandel trying to be funny.

Miss Les – A very bad singer with a bunch of live birds around her neck.

During his plea hearing, Harris admitted that on July 4, 2011, he transported two women, one of whom was a minor, from Texas to Doña Ana County, New Mexico, with the intent that the women engage in prostitution.

Harris, who has been in federal custody since his arrest on July 4, 2011, will be on supervised release after his release from federal prison, and he will be required to register as a sex offender, federal prosecutors said.
