Dallas Escorts: Dallas Crime Watch: Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009
… The Jordanian teenager accused last week of planning to blow up a downtown Dallas skycraper was in the U.S. illegally because he had overstayed his visa. Records show that Hosam Smadi, 19, came to America in the spring of 2007 on a visitor visa, not a student visa as originally believed. Once a visa-holder arrives with a “B2″ visitor visa – which is what Smadi apparently received — he has six months to seek an extension or leave the United States. Meanwhile, Smadi’s estranged wife told WFAA-TV Channel 8, that she still loves him but was shocked by his actions and plans to divorce him. “I love him. I did. You know, still do,” said Rosalinda Duron, 20, of Waxahachie. “[But] what he has done is amazing. It’s crazy. I can’t believe it.”
