Dallas Strip Clubs: Joe McElderry back in the studio

Fans of The X Factor have been scratching their heads for the past few months, wondering one thing: where in the world is Joe McElderry?
2009’s winner has kept a very low profile for much of the year, prompting concern that he may headed for the same fate as 2007 victor Leon Jackson.
The sweet-voiced Geordie is back in the studio, recording with American record producer Dallas Austin!
He is certainly in safe hands, as Austin’s long list of past collaborators includes Pink, Gwen Stefani, Sugababes and the King and Queen of Pop themselves, Madonna, Michael Jackson… and, you know, McFly. We say ’safe hands’… but he might just end up going to strip clubs and getting nearly killed by tequilla – McFly gave Dallas quite the reputation in the UK!

Dallas Strip Clubs: The strip club with a heart of gold

The strip club with a heart of gold

The next day, before business hours, Ace was allowed to climb up on a stage, check out the stripper’s pole and pose for pictures with Carrie, one of the dancers, and Vanna, who works the front desk.
Dawn Rizos, who has been honored for bringing class and flair to an industry often viewed as seedy — and here we’re talking strip clubs, not journalism — was out of town, so we didn’t get to meet her, Alley or Pedro.
But Ace and I did get to meet Michael Precker, who’s found job security in a strip club;  and the Hunter’s and their Vick dog, Mel, whose found some security as well. We’ll bring you that story — unless some gentlemen’s club hires us as writer-in-residence in the interim – tomorrow.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Mayors stepped up after Kennedy assassination, moved Dallas from image as …

… We’re heading into nut country today,” Kennedy said to his wife, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, as he showed her the ad, according to JFK aide and close friend Kenneth O’Donnell, who shared his recollections in the 1970 memoir, Johnny, We Hardly Knew Ye. O’Donnell said the president then added these remarks: “But Jackie, if somebody wants to shoot me from a window with a rifle, nobody can stop it, so why worry about it?”
Wise later testified at the murder trial of Jack Ruby, who gunned down assassination suspect Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement of the Dallas police station two days after the president was killed.
The day after the assassination, Wise went to the Texas School Book Depository, where Oswald had worked, and ran into Ruby, who as a Commerce Street strip club owner was known by many. Ruby expressed concern that the prosecution might require the president’s grieving widow, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, to return to Dallas as a witness if Oswald were put on trial.

I forgot to mention what a great job photo man kevin did at this event. One might ask, “why are there not shots of hot strippers since this event was held at a strip bar?” Well, Kevin was under duress all night, first by various management types who told him bluntly, “do not shoot the girls” and then by guys who didn’t want their wives to know where they were last night. Kevin is a sweet guy who looked as much out of place as a preacher. We both got hassled for not having credentials. “I am a freelance writer,” I told one goon and he actually asked, “you got any credentials?” I should have given him my library card. Even at the door, I got hassled cause I wasn’t going to pay the $20 cover charge. Anyhow, great job Kevin! Posted On: Monday, Jul. 19 2010 @ 3:44PM

Dallas Strip Clubs: Twin Peak will open in Southlake

Muller said the city would inspect the business several times a year to ensure waitress are properly clothed and are not violating the ordinance.
Judi Sherrill stopped dead in her tracks after hearing the restaurant would be moving into town.
Sherrill said few residents would support the sports bar, and she hopes that means it’ll struggle financially.
“I don’t think it needs to be in Southlake,” she said. “I don’t think it needs to be in Dallas. I don’t think it needs to be in any area. It doesn’t need to be here.”
However, not everyone was against Southlake newest restaurant.
Teenager Damien Jacot said Twin Peaks would be a big draw in the city, and he doesn’t see what the big fuss is all about.
“They’re not taking clothes off,” he said. “They go into work with everything covered that needs to be. It’s just food. It’s not a gentlemen’s club.”

Dallas Strip Clubs: Fate of former stripper in hands of ‘ghost’

Ivana Levkovic leaves a Toronto courthouse, Monday, July 12, 2010. Levkovic pleaded not guilty to charges that she caused a newborn baby’s death. (Alex Urosevic/QMI Agency)
TORONTO The fate of a former stripper accused of allowing her newborn to die in a toilet and then hiding the babys corpse in a freezer for several years may rest in the hands of a ghost.
The entire case against Ivana Levkovic, 28, who was acquitted in 2006 of similar allegations involving another infant, is expected to come down to the whether or not her former pimp is allowed to tell his grizzly version of events from the grave.
Were up against a ghost, an ambiguous ghost, defence attorney Michael Moon said in court Monday during a pre-trial hearing at 361 University Ave.

Dallas Strip Clubs: The Cowboys’ Tony Romo Takes A Potty Break

Maybe so. But there wasn’t a rule to cover exactly what will happen if it does happen (as we saw when Tennessee tryout punter A.J. Trapasso hit it in a preseason game – ostensibly on purpose).
Now there is: The NFL has addressed the rules for when a ball strikes a hanging videoboard, skycam or wiring. (Amazing, isn’t it, that until Cowboys Stadium came along, the NFL lacked the foresight for such rules?) NFL rules now state that the play will be whistled dead and the down will be replayed, with the clock being reset to when the play started.
This year, Cowboys Stadium can be more about football – and, oh yes, about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ Naughty Cousins up there high above the field gyrating around their Miller Lite Stripper Poles.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Cuban wants NBA to probe Heat’s signings

The credibility of this league has gone down the toilet. The Cavs didn’t need better support players to keep LJ. They needed a better nightlife in Cleveland to compete with South Beach. Upgrade those strip clubs if you want to attract free agents. If LJ is the best, the other players should have been coming to him, not the other way around. He took their millions straight out of high school without any intent of staying there. Sure the burden of winning was on his shoulders. It comes with the territory. Cuban is only saying what other owners are thinking: We have lost control over our franchises. For those who say why would the Cavs want him back if he tanked, it’s simple. His leaving probably dropped the value of the franchise by several hundred million. Few stars have ever left during their prime. Jabbar and Shaq both went to LA for the glamour and commercial opportunities. Guess not much as changed since South Beach is the eastern version of Hollywood.
