Dallas Strip Clubs: Here’s a different kind of St. Pat’s parade on Greenville

Cost: The event is free, but for the first time organizers will pass donation buckets to help pay for the parade and a scholarship program that was started last year. In an effort to give back to the community, the association awarded $2,500 scholarships last year to three college-bound high school students. The $75,000 parade budget comes from entry fees and sponsorship, and generally covers 165 off-duty police officers, barricades and cleanup, Levy said.
History: “When it started in the late ’70s, it was kind of like a neighborhood-type parade with lots of people on the back of the truck,” Levy said. “Now we get some real floats.” In the early 2000s, there were complaints about too many strippers and too much partial nudity. The next year, the parade it took a family-friendly turn, though that doesn’t mean it’s aimed at just kids. You’re just as likely to find floats that hand out Jell-O shots for adults as those that give candy to the kids.

Dallas Strip Clubs: DWTS Season 10: Pam Anderson, Kate Gosselin, The Bachelor join Dancing with …

TALENT LEVEL: 1/10 (You have to exist as a sentient being to have talent)
CHANCES OF WINNING: 1/10 (He’s not disliked as much as Gosselin, but he’s not exactly carrying a Justin Bieber-like legion around in his wake).
COMPETITOR #4: CHAD OCHOCINCO
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco used to be known as Chad Johnson, but changed his name to echo his jersey number (85) in Spanish. An indicator of the man’s intellect: He got the translation wrong. That said, Chad Ochenta y Cinco would be a heck of a mouthful in a Twitter feed.
TALENT LEVEL: Seises Fuera de Diez (Dude has twinkletoes, for sure. That said, he’s as likely to show up with strippers and a pickup truck full of mashed potatoes as fast as perfect a waltz.)

Dallas Strip Clubs: The Bachelor Finale: Jake PROPOSES to Vienna! The real shock…Jake Announced …

Then Vienna and Tenley had one more date with Jake.  One more chance to whisper sweet nothings.  God, the guys head must be huge!  His ego…that is.  The dates were typical…I love you, only you and want you, only you…boob graze, car wash french kissing and Jake in tears -  ‘I came here looking for my best friend.’   EXCEPT that is for Tenley’s date!  Jake hurt her feelings and made her question falling for him.  Jake confronted her on their lack of physical chemistry (how could anyone compare to a set above a stripper Vienna)!  Tenley moaned, ‘I cannot end up in a relationship like the one I had with my ex-husband again.  I deserved to be loved, I deserve to find love.’  She is starting to sound like Michelle!  And then Jake apologized and won her back.  So she decided to show him their ‘physical chemistry is real in every way’. This experience is a one-way ticket to the looney bin for Tenley.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Brutal Attraction: The Making of Raging Bull

They were not, however, communicating very well over the proposed film’s source material, Raging Bull: My Story, an autobiography La Motta had cobbled together with the help of writer Joseph Carter and boyhood friend Peter Savage. It was not much of a book, even by the primitive standards of sports bios, circa 1970. But Savage was also an acquaintance of De Niro’s and had sent him a copy, and the actor somehow perceived subtexts—maybe even a sort of rough sublimity—in it. At some point De Niro resolved to meet La Motta and sought him out at a strip club on New York’s Seventh Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets. “He was in charge of security there,” De Niro says, then pauses and laughs: “Well, really, he was the head bouncer.” The actor’s first impression was of an old fighter “doing battle with his weight”—a battle that De Niro would himself famously fight when he had to gain some 60 pounds to do the film …

Dallas Strip Clubs: Contract issue nixes ‘Idol’ hopeful

The curly haired Golightly joins a string of “Idol” contestants who emerged from the thousands who audition nationwide, only to be disappointed when the show decides their work or personal history is a problem.
Last season, Joanna Pacitti was shown advancing to the top 36 after “Hollywood Week” but was later replaced by Felicia Barton. Pacitti released an album in 2006 and had ties to 19 Entertainment, which produces “Idol” with FremantleMedia North America. She was also deemed “ineligible to continue” in a Fox news release.
In contrast, the singing competition allowed past contestants David Hernandez and Antonella Barba to stay on after it surfaced that he once worked as a nightclub stripper, and racy photos that appeared to be her leaked online. And Nikki McKibbin says she was upfront with “Idol” producers about her stripping past before she became a finalist during the show’s first season.

Dallas Strip Clubs: One of the ‘Idol’ 24 Has Been Ousted for Lying

Some of you may have noticed that there was a little bit of a change in the Top 24 during the Wednesday episode of ‘American Idol.’ Chris Golightly, who originally auditioned in Los Angeles, made it to the Top 24, and was shown in a group shot toward the end of the episode, but when we had individual shots of the 24 semi-finalists at the very end, he was missing. So what’s the story? Turns out, Golightly was less than honest with ‘Idol’ producers.
After nine seasons, viewers and contestants alike have (or should have) learned one thing: be upfront with ‘Idol’ producers. Season One contestant Nikki McKibbin was upfront about her stripper past, and was allowed to stay on the show. Frenchie Davis, however, failed to disclose that she posed topless on the web, and was ousted. Golightly’s infraction was that he failed to tell producers that he had a record contract.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Chris Golightly Joins Long List Of DQ’d ‘American Idol’ Contestants

But a questionable past doesn’t mean automatic elimination from the show. Season one’s Nikki McKibbin was not DQ’d for working as a stripper before joining the show, and in season two, singer Trenyce fessed up to producers about a felony theft charge on her record and was allowed to continue singing. Season-seven 12th-place finisher David Hernandez go-go danced at a gay bar in Phoenix, Arizona, called Dick’s Cabaret and though producers didn’t seem to mind, he was voted off just as that fact surfaced. Season four’s Scott Savol stayed on the show even after news emerged about a past domestic violence arrest. Bo Bice told producers about his past arrests for felony cocaine possession in 2001 and marijuana possession in 2003, and he almost made it to the finish line in season four.
