Dallas Escorts: Q&A: Matthew Posey

I have my own little Rosetta Stone, and it’s Hamlet’s Mill, the origin of myth and religion. It’s where all stories come from. I use it as a guide. One of the big creation stories that’s universally accepted is that that when the gods created the world there were these two tricksters, twins, who came in and sang and did a vulgar little dance and the world was created. This all connects back into these ideas of the fall of man and modern Christian ideas.
These are where ideas for Coppertone come in, I just transposed them into a modern sense, this idea of being in whorehouses and taverns and things like that. Lo and behold you read Long Day’s Journey Into Night and he connects it right into─and a lot of our classics are connected into─issues of alcoholism, prostitution, family secrets and lies, of being cheapskates, being things like that.

Dallas Escorts: Irving mom pleads guilty in son’s death in New Hampshire

McCrery appeared calm throughout the hearing as she answered the judge’s questions, wearing handcuffs shackled to a waist belt. Her father, Claude Hughes and brother, Christopher Hughes, attended the plea hearing but refused to comment, leaving the courthouse stoically.
“Today is really a difficult day for the McCrery and Hughes families,” Morrell said outside court. “They are mourning the loss of Camden and struggling with how he died, at the hands of his mother.”
“Today, we have justice for Camden,” Morrell said.
Texas public records show that McCrery was arrested at least twice on prostitution charges and once for possession with intent to distribute drugs. In 2009, she was sentenced to one year in prison for a misdemeanor conviction of prostitution. In 2004, she was sentenced to three years of probation for a felony conviction of possession of a controlled substance.

Dallas Escorts: Indictment alleges mob ties in takeover of Irving lender

… Once in control, they allegedly used their criminal enterprise to extract millions of dollars from the company to fund their lavish lifestyles,” said Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer in a prepared statement.
Irving resident John Maxwell became chief executive of FirstPlus in 2007. His brother, Houston lawyer William Maxwell, became “special counsel.” But real power rested with their associates in the Philadelphia area, prosecutors said.
One was Nicodemo Scarfo, whom authorities described as a member of the Lucchese crime family and the son of imprisoned Philadelphia-area mob boss Nicodemo D. “Little Nicky” Scarfo.
Another was a Scarfo associate named Salvatore Pelullo. “If you ever rat, your wives will be [expletive] … and your kids will be sold off as prostitutes,” Pelullo allegedly said in a conversation with a member of the new board after the takeover.

Dallas Escorts: Reputed mobsters charged with taking over Irving company

The 13 defendants face charges including racketeering, wire fraud, money laundering, false statements on a loan application, securities fraud. Maximum penalties range from five years in prison to decades.
“The criminal activity is evolving,” said Michael Ward, agent-in-charge of the FBI in Newark. “It’s going from the back alleys to the boardrooms.”
Authorities say the plot started in April 2007, when the younger Scarfo and his associate Salvatore Pelullo, who has previously been convicted of financial crimes, decided to take over FirstPlus Financial Group, a publicly traded mortgage company based in Irving. Authorities said it was a company with a lot of cash but not much sophistication.
The indictment charges Scarfo and Pelullo used threats to help wrest control of the company. Pelullo is accused of telling a member of the FirstPlus’ board that if he didn’t go along with the plan, “your kids will be sold off as prostitutes.”

Dallas Escorts: White Collar Mafiosos (And Their CPA) Arrested For Strong-Arming Their Way To …

Yesterday, thirteen people – including five lawyers and a Certified Public Accountant – were arrested in early morning raids in New Jersey, Florida and Texas for their part in a complicated scheme that involved taking a mortgage company by force and frittering away its assets.
Federal prosecutors say the son of imprisoned crime boss Nicodemo D. “Little Nicky” Scarfo and his associate Salvatore Pelullo took over Irving, TX mortgage company FirstPlus Financial Group, a company with plenty of cash but very little sophistication. The change in ownership was not amicable for both involved parties. According to the indictment, Pelullo told a member of the FirstPlus board that if he did not go along with the planned takeover, “your kids will be sold off as prostitutes.” Harsh. At what B-school do they teach that tactic?

Dallas Escorts: Family of 12-year-old boy grazed by bullet fired by Dallas officer sues city

The family of a 12-year-old boy who was grazed in the arm by a bullet fired by a Dallas police officer last October filed suit against the city of Dallas on Friday. Xavion Collins was not seriously injured in the incident at an east Oak Cliff complex, but he still suffers from nightmares, said his family’s attorney, Susan Hutchison. “The city needs to be responsible for the conduct of its officers,” Hutchison said. “This boy was walking by to get a Coke and ended up getting shot.” City Attorney Tom Perkins said he could not comment because the city had not yet seen the lawsuit. The shooting incident which resulted in the fatal shooting of Tobias Mackey occurred Oct. 29, 2010, at the Cedar Garden apartments in the 3800 block of Bonnie View Road.
Officer Matthew Tate and other officers were conducting a sweep at the complex because of complaints about drug sales, prostitution and other criminal activity. Police officers encountered Mackey in a breezeway.

So… Shaniqua the poodle is a prostitute and Tara is her client?

WEATHERFORD, Texas – A Saginaw man was sentenced to life in prison plus twenty years on Wednesday for sexually assaulting young girls and soliciting sex from them online.
District Judge Trey Loftin of Weatherford told 25-year-old Johnathan Eugene Cooper that he was a “serial child rapist” before handing down the sentence, according to a news release from the district attorney’s office.
Cooper pleaded guilty in April. During that trial, five different women testified they had sex with him when they were 13 to 16 years old and he was an adult. Three of the victims said Cooper asked them to arrange for him to have sex with other underage girls.

Dallas Escorts: Eight Months After FW Mayor, AA Fought Topless Bar Near DFW, Judge Rules for …

Remember, way back in January, when then-Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief and the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport were in a huff — a downright tizzy! — over Rick’s Cabaret’s plans to take off its top but a hop, skip and lap dance away from American Airlines’ HQ on the south side of DFW? Come on, sure you do. No? Then let me refresh your memory. Just stuff your ones in the waistband. No, thank you.
Long story short: Moncrief and the airport board were positively appalled at the prospect of having a gentleman’s joint so close to the airport. In a letter of protest sent to Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Administrator Alan Steen, the mayor cited myriad reasons, among them the “threat of inebriated patrons” and “increased criminal activity,” including “drugs, gambling, prostitution, firearms and engaging in organized criminal activity.”

Dallas Escorts: Resolana offers women in Dallas County Jail a way to help each another | The …

DALLAS — Sitting in a circle at the Dallas County Jail one evening, 20 women tell their stories of heartache, danger and hope. One woman describes how she’s been abused in a relationship. Another admits to addiction and prostitution.
A third woman explains why she is addicted to crack cocaine: guilt. With loved ones telling her she was a bad parent, she has succumbed to the drugs. “I may not have been the best mother,” she says, “but what was I?”
“A mother,” her fellow inmates reply, as though in a church congregation.
The women in this life-skills class are part of Resolana, a nonprofit that educates and empowers women behind bars. The inmates listen to one another in a safe space and, in effect, build their own community. They are given the opportunity to nurture and be nurtured — and they help one another on their difficult journeys to sobriety and safety.
