A Billboard to Lure a DPD Substation

Business owners near the Dallas Farmers Market want a police substation so badly, they’ve put up a billboard asking for one.
The billboard which says, “Support your Dallas police. We need you here,” is at the corner of St. Paul and Cadiz streets in downtown Dallas.
A group of area business and property owners say they are tired of the constant crime in their neighborhood.
“Constant vandalism, property destruction, harassment, theft — we see constant drug transactions, prostitution,” said Tanya Ragan, who owns a building on Park Street. “I mean it’s ongoing, every day.”
Property owners say the crime had caused their property values to plummet.
“These property owners in this neighborhood have become very, very frustrated with what they’re dealing with on a daily basis due to The Bridge,” Ragan said.

I forgot to mention what a great job photo man kevin did at this event. One might ask, “why are there not shots of hot strippers since this event was held at a strip bar?” Well, Kevin was under duress all night, first by various management types who told him bluntly, “do not shoot the girls” and then by guys who didn’t want their wives to know where they were last night. Kevin is a sweet guy who looked as much out of place as a preacher. We both got hassled for not having credentials. “I am a freelance writer,” I told one goon and he actually asked, “you got any credentials?” I should have given him my library card. The former NFL star allegedly paid $300 to the girl, a Bronx runaway, for their encounter in May. Taylor pleaded not guilty through his lawyer to third-degree rape, patronizing a prostitute, sexual abuse and endangering a child.
