DALLAS – The Dallas police officer fired for forcing a prostitute to give him sexual favors is facing more charges. Another woman has come forward accusing him of rape.
Tamara Greathouse admits she’s led a risky lifestyle. She’s been arrested for drugs, prostitution and burglary of habitation.
But even as a prostitute, Greathosue said she never expected the risk to come at the hands of a police officer.
“As I was walking underneath the bridge on 2nd and Dixon, I saw a police officer make a u-turn and he asked me what was my problem,” she said.
Greathouse talked to the officer on the side of the street. She said he ran her name and told her she had warrants for her arrest.

Dallas Strip Clubs: League won’t suspend Titans QB Young for strip-club altercation

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was informed that the NFL will not discipline him for his involvement in a June altercation at a Dallas strip club, a source with knowledge of the situation told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora on Wednesday.
The NFL is expected to make an announcement as early as Thursday, according to The Tennessean, which first reported the news. A league spokesman had no comment Wednesday.
Young received a misdemeanor assault citation after getting into a fight at the strip club and leaving before authorities arrived. Surveillance video footage released by police showed Young charging and attacking someone in a small room in Club Onyx.
Young later apologized to the Titans, his teammates, his family and fans. He also said he hoped NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell would’t come down hard on him with a suspension because he owned up to his mistake.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Attorney certain Carlita, Bernard Kilpatrick will be deposed in stripper suit …

Attorney certain Carlita, Bernard Kilpatrick will be deposed in stripper suit: ‘Let them plead the Fifth’
Published: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 11:39 AM     Updated: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 12:23 PM
Attorney Norman Yatooma says there is “no way” a federal judge will squash depositions scheduled for the wife and father of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick in an ongoing civil suit filed by the family of slain stripper Tamara “Strawberry” Greene.
Yatooma is representing Greene’s family, which claims Kilpatrick and other city leaders conspired to stifle a probe into the dancer’s 2003 murder, which occurred months after she allegedly performed at a long-rumored party at the Manoogian Mansion.
Carlita and Bernard Kilpatrick, who now live in Texas, on Sunday filed motions asking Chief U.S. District Judge Gerald E. Rosen to set aside orders they give depositions to Yatooma, who believes Rosen will not grant the request.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Vick dog finds happy home in Dallas

Vick dog finds happy home in Dallas
I never expected our “Dog’s Country” adventures would include Ace riding in the back seat of a car with a former Michael Vick dog.
Then again, I never expected we’d be hanging out in a strip club, either.
But our visit to The Lodge in Dallas led us to meet Mel, a still meek and fearful, sad-eyed, mostly black pit bull — small in stature, short on confidence, and sweet as pecan pie.
Mel was adopted from Best Friends by Sunny Hunter, manager of VIP services at the swanky Dallas gentlemen’s club, and her husband Richard Hunter, a talk show host whose outlook on life isn’t as bleak as his goth appearance may lead you to think — especially since Mel came into their lives.
Meet Mel and the low esteem in which you may already hold Michael Vick — and, yes, we know he served his time — plummets even lower.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Joe McElderry back in the studio

Fans of The X Factor have been scratching their heads for the past few months, wondering one thing: where in the world is Joe McElderry?
2009’s winner has kept a very low profile for much of the year, prompting concern that he may headed for the same fate as 2007 victor Leon Jackson.
The sweet-voiced Geordie is back in the studio, recording with American record producer Dallas Austin!
He is certainly in safe hands, as Austin’s long list of past collaborators includes Pink, Gwen Stefani, Sugababes and the King and Queen of Pop themselves, Madonna, Michael Jackson… and, you know, McFly. We say ’safe hands’… but he might just end up going to strip clubs and getting nearly killed by tequilla – McFly gave Dallas quite the reputation in the UK!

Dallas Strip Clubs: The strip club with a heart of gold

The strip club with a heart of gold

The next day, before business hours, Ace was allowed to climb up on a stage, check out the stripper’s pole and pose for pictures with Carrie, one of the dancers, and Vanna, who works the front desk.
Dawn Rizos, who has been honored for bringing class and flair to an industry often viewed as seedy — and here we’re talking strip clubs, not journalism — was out of town, so we didn’t get to meet her, Alley or Pedro.
But Ace and I did get to meet Michael Precker, who’s found job security in a strip club;  and the Hunter’s and their Vick dog, Mel, whose found some security as well. We’ll bring you that story — unless some gentlemen’s club hires us as writer-in-residence in the interim – tomorrow.

4 men arrested inprostitution sting
Dallas police arrested four men in a prostitution sting Thursday.
Two female officers went undercover, acting as prostitutes as uniformed police officers waited to arrest the men who solicited them. The operation at the intersection of Polk Street and Kiest Boulevard is part of a three-month summer campaign, Operation Triangle, to reduce violent crime, property crime and public disorder in the city.
“We’ve been doing Operation Triangle for a month now, and we think it’s very successful,” said Dallas police spokesman Kevin Janse.
The department says it has seen a slight decrease in violent and property crime since the operation started. Forty-seven more arrests linked to public disorder, which includes prostitution, have been made compared with this time last year.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Mayors stepped up after Kennedy assassination, moved Dallas from image as …

… We’re heading into nut country today,” Kennedy said to his wife, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, as he showed her the ad, according to JFK aide and close friend Kenneth O’Donnell, who shared his recollections in the 1970 memoir, Johnny, We Hardly Knew Ye. O’Donnell said the president then added these remarks: “But Jackie, if somebody wants to shoot me from a window with a rifle, nobody can stop it, so why worry about it?”
Wise later testified at the murder trial of Jack Ruby, who gunned down assassination suspect Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement of the Dallas police station two days after the president was killed.
The day after the assassination, Wise went to the Texas School Book Depository, where Oswald had worked, and ran into Ruby, who as a Commerce Street strip club owner was known by many. Ruby expressed concern that the prosecution might require the president’s grieving widow, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, to return to Dallas as a witness if Oswald were put on trial.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Signed & Sealed, Bryant Eager To Play Football Again

Signed & Sealed, Bryant Eager To Play Football Again
Well, so much for holdout drama.
Rookie receiver Dez Bryant–and, we suppose, his agent Eugene Parker deserves some credit as well–put an end to any speculation of such last night, when he agreed to a five-year, $11.8 million deal with Dallas, who selected him 24th overall this past April.
After running the gauntlet prior to the draft, fielding character questions up to and including whether his mom was a prostitute, it’s clear that Bryant just wants to play football again; and, indeed, he held true to the promise he made at the scouting combine, that he would not miss a practice.
“This was very important to me to be able to get this done in time for the first practice,” said Bryant, per ESPNDallas.com. “I want to help this team. I want to compete. I can’t wait to start playing football again.”

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Source: Bryant, Dallas agree to $11.8M contract

… It helped to have a sense of urgency because it made the deal get done,” Parker said. “Jerry and Stephen and I have a relationship of trust in doing deals and we give each other the benefit of doubt.”
Bryant played only three games for Oklahoma State last season, then was dogged by all sorts of questions about his integrity, starting with an NCAA suspension for lying to investigators about a meeting with former Cowboys star Deion Sanders.
There was talk of him skipping meetings and classes, and being late to games. There were concerns about his mother’s private life, enough that Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland asked if she ever was a prostitute. After Bryant skipped the NFL combine and held his own pro day, there were whispers that he forgot to bring the right cleats.
