Dallas Strip Clubs: NFL Commissioner Goodell does not see suspension in Vince Young’s future for …

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, speaking at the NFLs Rookie Symposium on Sunday, told reporters that he plans to meet with Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young at some point over the next few weeks to discuss a recent dispute at a Dallas-area strip club.
Young was issued a Class C assault citation for allegedly punching Creiton Kinchen, a fellow patron, after Kinchen made an upside-down Hook em Horns sign with his hand.  Kinchens injuries were limited to a bloody lip, and he required no medical attention.

Besides, Young has seen first-hand what can happen to an NFL star spending too much time (and money) at strip clubs after former Titan Adam Jones was suspended for a year following evidence of his involvement in a June 2007 shooting outside a Las Vegas adult entertainment bar.

At the very least, Young should have a better understanding of how to react when a strip club patron points his fingers at an odd angle.

Dallas Strip Clubs: The Peak Oil Crisis: The Real Gulf Crisis

At last report BP was making progress on the relief wells that are being drilled to plug the runaway well in the Gulf. The London Times reports that BP hopes to penetrate the casing of the leaking well and start pumping in well-sealing mud in about two weeks. Let’s hope something works.
In the next few weeks, or if things do not go well, perhaps months, the leaking well will be plugged, fishing hopefully will resume, the tourists will return, and the whole matter will be left to lawyers who will spend decades arguing how much New Orleans strip clubs that lost business during the oil spill should be remunerated by BP.
Someday, however, it will become apparent that the real disaster is taking place 150 miles to the south at BP’s multi-billion dollar Thunder Horse oil platform that was supposed to extract a billion barrels of oil at a rate of 250,000 barrels a day (b/d). Production at Thunder Horse began in May of 2008 …
