ESPN reports that the maximum legal consequence for Vince Young would be a $500 fine, but Young could face a punishment from the NFL. This is Young’s first player conduct violation, so if Roger Goodell does give Young a penalty, it should be a minor one.
Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said “I like to think he’s learned a lesson. He had no business making the decision that he made and obviously he’s got to deal with those consequences. The leag will look into it. The commissioner is very strict about these types of things and I am sure we’ll hear from him after we get more information.”

DALLAS — Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young received a misdemeanor assault citation after getting into a fight at a Dallas strip club and leaving before authorities arrived early Sunday, police said.
Surveillance video footage released by police showed the former University of Texas star and several people talking in a small room before Young attacked someone in the room. Others tried to break up the fight.
Dallas police Lt. Andy Harvey said an investigation led to Young receiving a Class C assault citation, punishable by a fine up to $500.
Young was the No. 3 pick in the 2006 draft after leading the Longhorns to a national championship.

Troubled Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was involved in an altercation outside a Dallas area strip club early Sunday morning casting doubt over the team’s ability to compete with continued outside distractions.  It was just two years ago that Young had been pulled as the starter due to a serious infraction.
The quarterback was issued a Class C assault citation after surveillance video of the incident showed Young threw a punch and set off a fight inside an office at Club Onyx after a man indentified as Creiton Kinchen insulted Young and made a derogatory sign referencing the University of Texas, Young’s alma mater.
“This [Kinchen's comments] obviously made Mr. Young upset,” Dallas police Lt. Craig Miller said. “That conversation continues and there was more accusations against the University of Texas which prompted, in this case, Mr. Young to come back into the room where he just about exited.”

Dallas Police say Vince Young was only at the Dallas strip club “Club Onyx” for a few minutes, but it was enough time for the NFL quarterback to get into a fight in a back room.
“The most appropriate charges after working with the Dallas county officials is to go forward with the simple assault charges against Mr. Young and no one else,” said Lt. Craig Miller, of Dallas Police Department.
Police say the Tennessee Titans quarterback arrived at the club just before 3:30 Sunday morning.  Young went to the back room to talk with managers about special arrangements for himself and two or three other people.
After a friendly conversation, he starts to leave, and a bar employee flashes hook em horns – upside down.  That got the Longhorn legend’s attention.
