Lawrence Taylor Arrested for Raping A Girl He Paid $300

Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was arrested this morning on a class-E felony rape charge. This means he is accused of having intimate relations with a minor (under 18).
According to police the 16-year-old girl was brought to Taylor’s hotel room by her pimp named Rasheed Davis. Taylor paid her $300, which she gave to Davis.
What doesn’t make a whole lot of sense though is reports that after her encounter with Taylor, the girl was able to call her uncle, who had reported her missing, and the uncle was able to separate her from Davis. Did Taylor assist her with this while she was in his room?
Taylor’s lawyer, Kenneth Gribetz, is adamant his client is innocent.
“We firmly contend he is innocent of the charges and will be fully exonerated,” Gribetz told the Journal News.

Ex-NFL star Taylor sued
Former NFL star Lawrence Taylor is being sued over a South Florida car crash last year in which he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
Police said Taylor struck a van on Nov.8 on an expressway. He told police he thought he had hit a guardrail. No serious injuries were reported.
E-mails sent Thursday to Taylor’s attorney and agent were not immediately returned.
The lawsuit filed Wednesday in Miami-Dade Circuit Court says 51-year-old Manuel Villari Castillo suffered life-altering injuries and loss of income because of the accident. The lawsuit seeks over $15,000 in damages.
Taylor is charged in New York with raping a 16-year-old runaway who police said was forced into prostitution by a man who had beaten her up.

The show started with a robbery at an East-Dallas-ish-looking residence identified as “327 Holliston Street.” No such street. But over the next 20 minutes, the action was spliced with slow-panning shots of Fair Park, Deep Ellum, and the Cotton Bowl. They even have Whitford’s character Dan Stark living in a silver Airstream trailer parked on the Texas State Fairgrounds in the shadow of the giant ferris wheel.
Much of the action took place in the 2800 block of Commerce Street in a vintage brick storefront. As the cop duo traded gunfire with a South American assassin and glass shatters on the sidewalk, you could spy the graffiti’d wall of Coyote Ugly nearby.
Other locales whose identities were less obvious included a stripper bar and a motel called the South Dallas Value Inn. There was also a scene shot at a hard-to-identify Racetrak-type gas station. But there was no mistaking the location of the ending: the broad concourse in front of Dallas City Hall on Young Street, although the cameras never took in City Hall itself. Maybe they’re saving that for a future episode.
