Dallas Adult Entertainment: Only Journalists Whine About NY Super Bowl

Greg Cote of the Miami Herald, under the headline “NFL Goes insane With Super Bowl in New Jersey,’’ grumbled “The League should be arrested for prostitution because, in effect, the NFL has broken its own rules on mild-climate cities to reward the Jets and Giants for building a $1.6 billion stadium.’’
Houston was rewarded with a Super Bowl for building a new stadium. Rules about mild-climate cities? Detroit has had two Super Bowls; Minnesota, the frozen north had one. Those games were indoors, but for that first time in Detroit, XVI, the winning 49ers had to stomp through snowdrifts just to get to the Pontiac Silverdome.
The owners, who voted for New York, merely were supporting the free-spending decision of their pals in charge of the Giants and Jets to erect a new facility.
That’s not prostitution. That’s billion-dollar back-scratching.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Thoughts From Simon Cowell on Leaving ‘American Idol’

Cowell has taken the role of villian many times on Idol, but has always comported himself with honesty and integrity, if not always with grace. One of the comments he made that stood out to me was that he could not “prostitute himself” just for the extra money. By bucking the Hollywood system of money and celebrity over talent and heart, Cowell has showed his character.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Momentum shifts on ‘American Idol’ finale

All season Lee thrived on his emotion, authenticity and keen song selections. Tonight he only exhibited the latter — and those barely helped without the former two strengths. Even on a tune as peppy and anthemic as U2’s “Beautiful Day,” Lee appeared to be performing like he was nursing a bleeding ulcer.
Meanwhile, Crystal absolutely brought it. All three of her songs revealed a different side of her folky/gritty prowess. This was all the more impressive considering she was forced to deliver a version of the sorority karaoke night classic “Black Velvet.” Did you think it was suspicious that the “producer’s pick” saddled Crystal with this awful stripper-pole fave by one-hit wonder Alannah Myles, and Lee got the hipper, deeper “Everybody Hurts” by R.E.M.? No question for whom the suits at 19 Entertainment were rooting.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: NFL goes insane with Super Bowl in New Jersey

I can’t come up with a decent reason to want to be in East Rutherford under any circumstances — particularly with its unfortunate proximity to Jets fans — but the least of those circumstances would be in early February, when temperatures drop into the 20s and the wind bites and sleety, gray banks of sludge (far too ugly to be called snow) are likely to entomb the stadium.
The NFL, in Tuesday awarding Super Bowl XLVIII to the New Meadowlands Stadium, has for the first time bestowed its signature game to an open-air stadium in a harsh-winter city.
Competing bids from Miami and Tampa were denied. Yeah, why play the biggest of all games in fair weather? Makes too much sense.
The league should be arrested for prostitution, because, in effect, the NFL has broken its own rules on mild-climate Super Bowls to reward the Jets and Giants for building a $1.6 billion stadium.

Dallas Escorts: New York Gets 2014 Super Bowl, Paves The Way For Cold-Weather Cities

Even with Milwaukee and Appleton within range, hotel space would be an issue. So would a lack of practice facilities. The limited airport traffic could be a problem as well. Super Bowls also are events and there could be a shortage of venues to host the multitude of seminars and parties that accompany the game itself. Not to mention, the average temperature in Green Bay in February is around 20 degrees. And it snows. A lot.
The temperature is a moot point, since it’s likely going to be that cold in New Jersey in February 2014, but the city’s infrastructure, as well as that of the surrounding area, would be severely tested by an event like the Super Bowl.
And that’s to say nothing of the fringe activities that take place during Super Bowl weekend. I’m going to pretend we’re all intelligent adults here and go ahead and mention the three things other Super Bowl cities, like New York, have copious supplies of and are always in high demand — prostitutes, strip clubs and drugs.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Texas Rangers Bankrupt! A-Rod Still Owed $25m Says "food stamps now an option!"

Meanwhile, Alex Rodriquez is said to be jittery over the bankruptcy, still owed $25M from his ludicrous $275m deal with the Rangers from 2001 which started the team on it’s decline.
According to NY tabloids A-Rod has stopped picking up the tabs in restaurants, has been seen taking the bus to the stadium, been seen shopping for clothes in 2nd hand stores, and told his agent he is available for appearances at any and all civic functions for the minimum $50 appearance fee, plus the chicken dinner.
Details of A-Rod’s divorce from former wife Cynthia have never been revealed, but it was said to be worth ‘multi millions’ based on her confirmed charges of serial infidelity which started with rumours of A-Rod in Toronto with exotic stripper Joselyn Noel Morse, a distant relative of this writer, who A-Rod said was introduced to him by his long time proctologist and Canadian Health Care Advisor, Dr. Victor Nicholas .

Dallas Adult Entertainment: The Future of the City

By 2007, Dallas vice officers had grown tired of arresting the same women again and again. So they launched the Prostitution Diversion Initiative, a program that approached prostitutes as victims rather than criminals, offering treatment and support to women in need. For prostitutes with prior felony convictions, the county created STAR Court–the acronym stands for Strengthening, Transition, and Recovery. Twelve women have graduated successfully from the program and 30 more are currently participating. Meanwhile, offenses at truck stops have dropped 39 percent since the program began.

Ideally, in the future there would be one place where the prostitutes–I hate to call them prostitutes, because so many of them are not doing that anymore–would live while on probation, and we’d bring the counselors to them. They would be involved in a legitimate business there, which would support the organization itself. There is one such program in Nashville, and it’s amazing. We would like to take what they’re learned and do the very same thing here in Dallas. We had the first national prostitution diversion conference here in Dallas County, with interest from all over.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Brian Urlacher’s Love Affair With LeBron James Reaches DEFCON 1, Chicago Bears (blog)

If LeBron does, in fact, sign with the Bulls, I smell a James-Urlacher buddy comedy hitting theaters in the summer of 2011. It would center around two professional athletes who, on a trip to New York, get caught up in a mob-run prostitution ring. It could be called, “LeBronx Tail.”

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Coe Provides Sense On Cents

The lines, LD, between politics and economics are now and forever blurred…I listened to some commentary from the AZ Governor, speaking directly to the “costs” associated with our politically/economically misguided immigration sensibilities and lack of border controls – simply staggering – community services, education, law & disorder, incarceration, health care, housing…and then factor in the hidden but very real costs of violence, drugs, prostitution, kidnapping..and all the rest of the story…I’m no expert on this topic, and believe in the intrinsic dignity of man, but when the President and his henchman pursue this path from the bully pulpit, it’s bad enough as political pandering, but it’s even worse in that they believe their own words…somebody always must be demonized on the home team in Obama’s version of leadership of “We the People” – if it’s not the bankers in financial matters, it’s the insurers in health care, it’s the Republicans on virtually everything, and it’s certainly this poor woman, Jan Brewer, the Governor of Arizona, who is only trying to do exactly what she was elected to do – represent the interests of the citi

Dallas Adult Entertainment: DallasCowboys.com Columnist

Yet Bryant, all of 21, still had to deal with that character tattoo when he arrived at The Ranch as the first wide receiver the Cowboys have selected in the first round of an NFL Draft since taking Alvin Harper with the 12th pick back in 1991, and at that becoming only the fifth wide receiver the Cowboys have ever selected with a first-round pick.
And there would be more. By the time he arrived for the start of the rookie minicamp on April 30, national stories began circulating about how Miami general manager Jeff Ireland, the Cowboys former scouting director who followed Bill Parcells to the Dolphins, had somewhat crassly asked Bryant during his visit there if his “mother was a prostitute?” And even after Ireland apologized for what surely he hoped would never get out, the story grew larger and more invasive when more of the conversation was leaked, the part about Bryant saying his father was “a pimp” when Ireland asked what his dad had done for a living.
