Dallas Escorts: Obama criticizes Arizona immigration law

… We want to drive day labor away,” says Republican Rep. John Kavanagh, one of the law’s sponsors.
An estimated 100,000 illegal immigrants have left Arizona in the past two years as it cracked down on illegal immigration and its economy was especially hard hit by the Great Recession. A Department of Homeland Security report on illegal immigrants estimates Arizona’s illegal immigrant population peaked in 2008 at 560,000, and a year later dipped to 460,000.
The law’s supporters hope the departure of illegal immigrants will help dismantle part of the underground economy here and create jobs for thousands of legal residents in a state with a 9.6 percent unemployment rate.
Kavanagh says day labor is generally off the books, and that deprives the state of much-needed tax dollars. “We’ll never eliminate it, just like laws against street prostitution,” he says. “But we can greatly reduce the prevalence.”

Dallas Escorts: A new low: Dolphins’ GM totally umprofessional

A new low: Dolphins’ GM totally umprofessional

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.
What if he had said yes? What possible difference could it have made?
That’s what fascinates me about Jeff Ireland, the general manager of the Miami Dolphins, asking prospective draftee Dez Bryant if his mother was a prostitute earlier in life.
The question only serves to humiliate the player and not inform the Dolphins on the risks of investing millions of dollars in a spectacular receiver who was dragged through a desperate childhood.
It was already well documented that Bryant’s mother served 18 months for selling crack cocaine, heading off to prison when Dez was 8 and starting him on a path of living with family members and acquaintances during his adolescent years. How much worse does the story need to be, and what sordid details are worth pinning to a draft board?

Dallas Escorts: NFL Risks Racial Mess if Dolphins’ GM Ireland Isn’t Punished

It’s quite another to ask Bryant — face to face, human being to human being — if his mother was a prostitute.

Obviously, Ireland didn’t read the company handbook. A story was making the rounds Thursday that he wasn’t as insensitive as Bryant portrayed him — something to the effect of Ireland asking Bryant what his father did for a living, and Bryant responding that he’s a pimp who has little role in his son’s life. Then, when Ireland asked him what his mother did, Bryant said she worked for his dad, prompting Ireland to ask if she is a prostitute. If that story is true — and I have my doubts — Ireland still blew it by taking a quantum leap and jumping to a rash conclusion. How about asking Bryant, “What do you mean, Dez, when you say she works for your father?”

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Ken Herock says no question is off limits during pre-draft interviews

As the Dez Bryant-Jeff Ireland controversy continues to draw conflicting opinions, a former NFL front office employee who now prepares players for pre-draft interviews has provided his two cents, via Tim Graham of ESPN.com.
“I don’t feel there are any topics off-limits,” Ken Herock told Graham.  “If anybody thinks they’re off-limits, put yourself in the eyes of an employer that’s going to hire a 21-year-old and pay him $15 million or $20 million.”
So, basically, Herock thinks teams have the right to ask incoming players whether their mothers are or were prostitutes.  “They already know about his family,” Herock said.  “They just want to see how he reacts and how he’s going to explain it and how he’s going to handle it. . . .  I don’t think that question was out of line.”

Dallas Adult Entertainment: NFL needs rules for questioning prospects

In a heated question session, Jeff Ireland, the general manager for the Miami Dolphins, asked Bryant if his mother was a prostitute. Ireland defended himself, saying it is his job to find out as much as he can about a player he is considering drafting. Ireland later apologized to Bryant about the question, but the fact remains he asked it.
What I want to know is what this question has to do with Bryant or his ability to catch a football. Even if the question was not highly offensive to Bryant, which I expect it was, it was not a relevant question. It had nothing to do with the Dolphins’ interest in Bryant.
Bryant answered all of the questions, telling Ireland his mother was not a prostitute. But these questions should not even be thought of because it is not anyone else’s business. Even if Bryant’s mother was a prostitute, what would that change? The Miami Dolphins are interested in Bryant because of his athletic ability. Any other question about Dez’s family or personal life should not be asked.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: There’s More To This Than Dez Bryant: A Bad Trend Is Developing In Miami

There’s More to This than Dez Bryant: A Bad Trend Is Developing in Miami
By now most of the football world has heard about Jeff Ireland’s ill conceived question to Dez Bryant regarding whether or not his mother was a prostitute. Exactly what the context was or the reasoning behind the question is something that can be debated, but it will never be resolved.
The reality is that many general managers had questions about Bryant’s mother and it’s common practice to poke and prod players for any number of reasons; if even just to gauge their reaction.
That isn’t to say Ireland didn’t take it a step too far, he surely could have been more tactful in his interrogation. But on the flipside, the national reaction has gone overboard in its condemnation and vilification of the Dolphins general manager.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: President Obama and California set to sue Arizona out of the Union

California is telling Arizona to legalize pot smoking to bring an end to their border drug smuggling problem and make a few extra billions in taxes. Plus Arizona could make billions more from illegal aliens driving while pot high. Don’t worry about traffic deaths, millions of illegal aliens are on the way to replace them and they all have (Free Health Care wink-wink) thanks to President Obama.
California may consider cutting Arizona some slack if they legalize what Obama’s old group Acorn started (with American tax dollars) and that is prostitution of illegal alien women and children. That would end Arizona being the sex slave trafficking capital of the world. It would also bring in a few billion dollars extra in taxes from Californian citizens being (re-authorized) back in Arizona state to conduct business, wink-wink.

Dallas Escorts: Dolphins Ireland Should Be Fired For Harassing Bryant In The Feudal NFL

Dolphins Ireland Should Be Fired For Harassing Dez Bryant In The Feudal NFL
Having had my head buried in learning as much as I could about the Cleveland Browns’ recent undrafted free agent signings, imagine my surprise when I plugged the three letters NFL into my internet browser’s search engine and it spit back:
Dolphin executive asks Dez Bryant if mom is a prostitute?
Think about that for a minute, really just put yourself in Mr. Bryant’s position and imagine you are applying for whatever job you currently have and your boss looks you directly in the eye and asks:
Is your dad a transvestite? or is your brother a  cocaine dealer? or is your aunt’s brother’s uncle’s sister’s kid a racist?
Are the answers to any of the above questions disturbing if they are true? Absolutely. Do they have one thing to do with whether you will be able to complete the tasks required of you in a timely and efficient manner? Of course not and if you were asked one of those questions you would immediately have civil recourse through litigation.

Dallas Escorts: Commentary: After questioning of Cowboys’ Dez Bryant, Dolphins GM needs …

Comments towards highly talented receiver’s mother are bogus.
Welcome to the NFL, rookie. Before going under the lights at an NFL stadium, it seems all draftees have to go under another light, an interrogation light. At least that’s what the Miami Dolphins organization thinks, anyway.
The Dolphins, like all other NFL teams, held pre-draft interviews with top prospects to see what kind of investment each player would be. For former Oklahoma State player and #1 pick of the Dallas Cowboys Dez Bryant, his time with the Dolphins quickly went south.
General Manager Jeff Ireland asked Bryant if his mother was a prostitute earlier in life. What in the name of Vince Lombardi does that have to even do with the game of football?
The question only serves to humiliate the player and not to inform the Dolphins on the risks of investing millions of dollars in a spectacular wide receiver who was dragged through a desperate childhood.

Dallas Escorts: Prostitute? My mother? Are you talking to me?

We’re writing a short bit for our Saturday “Hits and Misses” piece about Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland and his obnoxious pre-draft question to Dez Bryant, who ultimately became the Cowboys’ No. 1 pick: “Is your mother a prostitute?” (I’ve also seen it paraphrased as “Was your mother a prostitute?” if that matters.)

As job-interview questions go, and I’ve been on both sides of the desk, I’m stumped. Furthering the irony of asking this of Bryant is that the things Ireland probably should have known already were these: — Angela Bryant was 15 when she gave birth to Dez. — She sold drugs to provide for her three children, all born while she was a teenager. — When Dez was in high school, she told him she was no longer interested in romantic relationships with men. She was a lesbian. If you knew, or should have known, these things, would it matter whether she was a prostitute, too? Seriously, if you believe …
