Dallas Escorts: Dolphins Ireland Should Be Fired For Harassing Bryant In The Feudal NFL

Dolphins Ireland Should Be Fired For Harassing Dez Bryant In The Feudal NFL
Having had my head buried in learning as much as I could about the Cleveland Browns’ recent undrafted free agent signings, imagine my surprise when I plugged the three letters NFL into my internet browser’s search engine and it spit back:
Dolphin executive asks Dez Bryant if mom is a prostitute?
Think about that for a minute, really just put yourself in Mr. Bryant’s position and imagine you are applying for whatever job you currently have and your boss looks you directly in the eye and asks:
Is your dad a transvestite? or is your brother a  cocaine dealer? or is your aunt’s brother’s uncle’s sister’s kid a racist?
Are the answers to any of the above questions disturbing if they are true? Absolutely. Do they have one thing to do with whether you will be able to complete the tasks required of you in a timely and efficient manner? Of course not and if you were asked one of those questions you would immediately have civil recourse through litigation.

Dallas Escorts: Commentary: After questioning of Cowboys’ Dez Bryant, Dolphins GM needs …

Comments towards highly talented receiver’s mother are bogus.
Welcome to the NFL, rookie. Before going under the lights at an NFL stadium, it seems all draftees have to go under another light, an interrogation light. At least that’s what the Miami Dolphins organization thinks, anyway.
The Dolphins, like all other NFL teams, held pre-draft interviews with top prospects to see what kind of investment each player would be. For former Oklahoma State player and #1 pick of the Dallas Cowboys Dez Bryant, his time with the Dolphins quickly went south.
General Manager Jeff Ireland asked Bryant if his mother was a prostitute earlier in life. What in the name of Vince Lombardi does that have to even do with the game of football?
The question only serves to humiliate the player and not to inform the Dolphins on the risks of investing millions of dollars in a spectacular wide receiver who was dragged through a desperate childhood.

Dallas Escorts: Prostitute? My mother? Are you talking to me?

We’re writing a short bit for our Saturday “Hits and Misses” piece about Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland and his obnoxious pre-draft question to Dez Bryant, who ultimately became the Cowboys’ No. 1 pick: “Is your mother a prostitute?” (I’ve also seen it paraphrased as “Was your mother a prostitute?” if that matters.)

As job-interview questions go, and I’ve been on both sides of the desk, I’m stumped. Furthering the irony of asking this of Bryant is that the things Ireland probably should have known already were these: — Angela Bryant was 15 when she gave birth to Dez. — She sold drugs to provide for her three children, all born while she was a teenager. — When Dez was in high school, she told him she was no longer interested in romantic relationships with men. She was a lesbian. If you knew, or should have known, these things, would it matter whether she was a prostitute, too? Seriously, if you believe …

Dallas Escorts: Jeff Ireland finds himself apologizing for being such a douche!

When he first asked the question, it came across as something that only a mentally sick person could ask and maybe that is what Dez Bryant was thinking as he controlled himself and his urge to smack a hard one against Jeff IrelandJeff Ireland’s face: Maybe this Jeff Ireland guy is a retard and he just doesn’t know about it because nobody has had the heart to tell the poor soul.
The question that Jeff Ireland asked Dez was whether or not his mother was a prostitute.
It would have been something else entirely if the roles had been reversed and Dez was the one asking Jeff Ireland the questions, questions relating to his personal life, questions that should never see the light of day.
Jeff Ireland definitely did it this time by showing the American population what an inconsiderate and uncouth personality he really is. The truth cannot remain hidden anymore and the Americans know now that the General Manager of the Dolphins is no better than a fifth grader in a mans body.

Dallas Escorts: Dwyane, LeBron and other humans

If you’re Wade, would you stick around and put your basketball prime in the hands of someone who just botched those two decisions? Or would you flip teams and opt for a safer situation? More on this later.
91. Memo Okur The Jazz became unbeatable after he blew out his Achilles tendon in Game 1, only he’s not good enough to qualify for the Ewing Theory. Tough year for NBA players from Turkey.
(Speaking of tough years, as Falcon in Edmonton points out, “Is it just me or is the NBA pimping season tickets for next year kind of like going back home after being away for a few years and having the previously untouchable high school hottie being way drunk and begging you to take her home? I mean, she’s still good looking, but I’m a little short on cash and really don’t want to dish out for brunch tomorrow … “)

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Miami Dolphins: Marcellus Wiley weighs in on Dez-gate

So Wiley had an interesting take on the national controversy over Miami Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland and his decision (possibly with Parcells’ blessing) to ask former Oklahoma State (and current Dallas Cowboys) receiver Dez Bryant if his mother had ever been a prostitute.
“I’ve been in that same position and that same seat as a Dez Bryant,” Wiley told ESPN Radio during a Thursday morning appearance. “I can go back to when I was signed as a free agent by the Dallas Cowboys in 2004. Walking into Bill Parcells’ office — this is my, quote unquote, recruiting trip of sorts — I’ve been in the league, this is my seventh or eighth year, Bill Parcells, back turned to me, writing on the chalkboard, doesn’t even turn around to, say, ‘Hello’ or ‘Nice to meet you, Marcellus Wiley,’ just echoes, ‘Do you do drugs?’”

“I took that in jest, but now listening to the Dez Bryant situation, there could have been a context in which he meant t …

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Jeff Ireland Interview Incident Shows the Ugly Side of NFL’s Business Side

During a pre-draft visit, Jeff Ireland, general manager of the Miami Dolphins, asked (now Dallas Cowboys) wide receiver Dez Bryant if his mother, Angela, is a prostitute.
The most shocking part of that story is not that Ireland had the chutzpa to ask the question, but rather that Dez Bryant didn’t knock Ireland to the floor right then and there.
Kudos.
“I think the individual who asked that question, somebody ought to whack him in the head…What are you going to confront a young man with that situation for? He probably loves his mother no matter what she is or who she is.”

Asking if someone’s mother is a prostitute is not appropriate—especially if you didn’t ask that exact same question to the white athlete from the upper middle class suburban neighborhood.

Dallas Escorts: My Jeff Ireland Opinion

So he asked an incoming rookie, WR Dez Bryant, with a seriously scarred upbringing if his mother ‘was’ a prostitute. Not ‘is”. “Was”. So what.

I have been to a hundred job interviews and while I can’t recall ever being asked if my mother was a prostitute, I have been asked some rather unexpected personal comments including how many times during the course of a shift do I use the bathroom for something other than urination. WTF?

What if his mother was a prostitute? What if that was something that the Bryant family desperately wanted to keep secret? What if because of her prostitution she had things being held over her head that could result in someone from that past resurfacing and making demands…say “tell your son to drop some balls”.

NFLPA Executive Director Says Team Can’t Go Too Far During Interviews With Prospects
April 29th, 2010-  By Bryan Cross
DeMaurice Smith, the executive director of the NFLPA issued a statement on Wednesday afternoon regarding the revelation about Miami’s Jeff Ireland, and his question of Dez Bryant about his mother being a prostitute.
Smith said that when it comes to interviewing draft prospects, teams must be held to the highest standard of integrity and professionalism.
Ireland has since publicly apologized to both the Cowboys and Bryant.
“My job is to find out as much information as possible about a player that I’m considering drafting. Sometimes that leads to asking in-depth questions,” Ireland said through a statement. “Having said that, I talked to Dez Bryant and told him I used poor judgment in one of the questions I asked him. I certainly meant no disrespect and apologized to him.”

Dallas Escorts: NFL Players Association Hits Out At Interview Question

NEW YORK (Reuters) – NFL players, who have been held to account over the league’s personal conduct standards, hit back Wednesday when the players union sounded off about the Miami Dolphins’ pre-draft interview of candidate Dez Bryant.
Bryant, the Oklahoma State receiver who was taken 24th overall last Thursday as a first-round choice of the Dallas Cowboys, was asked by Miami general manager Jeff Ireland if his mother was a prostitute.
Ireland issued an apology Tuesday for posing the question about Bryant’s mother, Angela, who had served 18 months in jail for a drug-selling conviction.
“We need to make sure the men of this league are treated as businessmen,” players association chief DeMaurice Smith said in a statement.
“During interviews, our players and prospective players should never be subjected to discrimination or degradation stemming from the biases or misconceptions held by team personnel.
