Dallas Strip Clubs: Fort Worth Police on lookout for stripper pole thieves

After asking the clerk to empty the register, they stole a stripper pole. It was on sale. (Five-finger discount!)
FORT WORTH God bless Fox 4 news in Dallas. They always go the extra mile for crime stories that truly matter, like this one out of Fort Worth. Last Thursday, thieves — two men and a female accomplice — armed with kitchen knives, robbed The Romance Store at 780 N. Beach Street. They pointed eight inch blades at the store clerk and asked him to empty the register. Before they left, one suspect ran to the back of the store and stole a stripper pole that was marked on sale.
I wanna know if it was the female accomplice or one of the dudes. Police are looking at surveillance video for clues: “It’s a crime with a teasing twist,” writes Alice Wolke Kalthoff at My Fox DFW. Oh it’s twisted alright.

Dallas Escorts: Tucker Carlson Pimps More Texas Textbook Propaganda On Fox & Friends

Tucker Carlson Pimps More Texas Textbook Propaganda On Fox & Friends
Famous “dick” and self proclaimed gay basher, Fox contributor Tucker Carlson is joining the Fox & Friends full court press, otherwise known as the “Texas Textbook Wars” which is surely on a par with, as Texans would describe it, the War of Northern Aggression. Obviously Fox is pulling out all the propaganda stops in order to reinforce its message about how the evil libruls are trying to push their evil godless views into Texas textbooks and because publishers gear their material toward Texas (as the biggest purchaser of books), this evil agenda could be coming to yer town. Carlson is funny. If, as one suspects, his children attend or attended a posh private school in the rolling, green suburbs of Virginia– say – an Episcopalian private school like the one that he did (posh St. George’s Academy in Newport, RI) they certainly would not be taught the kind of information being pushed …

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Thought brutal gangs only on south side of border? Think again!

Ralph Reyes, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency’s chief for Mexico and Central America, explained in August, “The Zetas have obviously assumed the role of being the No. 1 organization responsible for the majority of the homicides, the narcotic-related homicides, the beheadings, the kidnappings, the extortions that take place in Mexico.”
Los Zetas’ recruitment campaigns have been highly visible and include the use of public narco banners posted around Mexico, promising servicemen better pay and benefits than the military offers.
Los Zetas is known for displaying recruitment banners geared toward current and former military members.
Meanwhile, hit men from the Gulf Cartel are paying reporters about $500 a month and providing them with liquor and prostitutes to bribe them to work as spies and suppress coverage of killing sprees on the U.S. border, Reuters reported.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Grief, Rage Fuel Juarez Mothers’ Search For Justice

I first met Olga Esparza Rodriguez last year at a memorial for a university professor in Juarez who had just been gunned down. Esparza was holding a giant banner with a picture of her 18-year-old daughter, Monica, who disappeared on March 26, 2009.
“A day for us is like an eternity,” Esparza says, sitting at her kitchen table with her husband. “It’s the worst in the night because during the day you have to work and go forward. But we miss her, miss her the way you’d miss an arm or a leg or the light.”
Over the past two decades, hundreds of teenage girls and young women have gone missing in Juarez. Some turn up dead or forced into prostitution rings. Prosecutors say some run off with boyfriends and will turn up when they want to be found.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Spring break to see fewer travelers

Whether because of America’s sagging economy or the surge in drug cartel-fueled violence in Mexico, more Reno college students plan to stay closer to home as spring break starts today on many campuses, said the director of the Associated Students of the University of Nevada.
Even travel industry representatives who used to come on campus to push hot destinations and to paper the campus with posters have backed off this year, said Sandy Rodriguez, ASUN director.
“This has been a very atypical year,” she said. “Usually, companies will send travel agents, mainly from Mexico and Florida, but those companies have been almost nonexistent this year.”
As UNR students go on spring break, some other universities around the country are warning college students to be wary if they’re headed for Mexico after the U.S. State Department issued a travel alert on Feb. 22.
The alert didn’t advise spring breakers not to go to Mexico but urged them to take such common-sense precautions like avoiding areas of prostitution and drug dealing.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Pocono Thursday Afternoon: Adult entertainment, distracted drivers, diaper thief

Pocono Thursday Afternoon: Adult entertainment, distracted drivers, diaper thief
The saga over changes that could lead the way for adult entertainment along Route 209 in Middle Smithfield continues. More than 100 township residents showed up for this morning’s meeting, where supervisors ultimately decided to table the measure.
Sorry Sean Kingston fans. The singer has come down with the flu and canceled tonight’s concert at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg. The show has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at the Sherman Theater.
The car recalls just keep on coming. Now Nissan is recalling about 540,000 pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles and minivans to fix problems with brake pedals and fuel gauges.
You’ve all seen them (maybe you’re one of them): From people putting on makeup to reading the newspaper, distracted drivers are a nuisance and a danger. Now police in New Jersey might have to note whether a driver involved in an accident was distracted. Among the distractions included: hair grooming, eating, changing the radio, reading, attending to a pet or using a fax machine. And yes, we’re serious about that last one – will that offense now be officially called Driving While Faxing (DWF).
