Police said the world’s oldest profession has gone high-tech.
More prostitutes are leaving the street corner and turning to the Web.
“What we are seeing is just outright advertisements for sexual services,” said Arlington Police Department Deputy Chief Jaime Ayala.
On one Web site well-known for its “adult services” advertisements, one out of every five ads in Dallas-Fort Worth originates in Arlington.
“We have received a number of complaints about what appears to be obvious postings of what appears to be prostitution,” Ayala said.
The Arlington Police Department is now launching operation “You Never Know” to fight online solicitation.
Undercover officers will be surfing the Web, posing as prostitutes and “Johns.”

Dallas Strip Clubs: Ellis: All Stars Need A Quiet Weekend And Off-Season

They deserve kudos for raising money for good causes, and they also deserve to have fun – it’s their right as much as anyone’s. In the process, these players and anyone else hitting the town need to protect themselves. Self-protection need not involve weapons, as Anderson learned the hard way last week, and other athletes have proved in recent years. Self-protection means responsible choices, like appointing designated drivers and avoiding conflict.
Athletes can be targets as we all know, but they shouldn’t further the problem by squaring the bulls-eye directly on themselves. A former teammate of these Cowboys did that in 2007, “Adam” Pacman Jones sparking a strip club melee during All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas. The Cowboys moved out Jones and other distractions last off-season, and surely won’t be afraid to do the same this year, if need be.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Valentine’s is a drag

How does cross-dressing porn legend and club DJ Chi Chi LaRue plan to spend the most romantic holiday? With sexy boys in a strip club, natch
BITTER, PARTY OF ONE Despite her history with, umm, ‘love-making,’ notorious drag diva Chi Chi LaRue says Valentine’s Day is a hard pill for her to swallow. And boy does she have practice.

Sometimes, even a stable of hot muscle studs willing to indulge your every sexual fantasy simply isn’t enough. Despite a career as the most famous (notorious?) gay porn director in the biz, drag diva and club DJ Chi Chi LaRue still finds Valentine’s Day something to be bitter about. She also hates New Year’s Eve and Halloween. But she comes to Dallas this weekend with her own sort of optimism.

I’m gonna offend some people — get into bar fights. No, I’m kidding. I’ve never had one. I’m really lucky. I’ve done some things to people where I should have been clocked! But I’ll sign autographs. People can take pics with me. I love a dirty strip bar. I’m shady. Why not?

Dallas Escorts: UD volunteers help low income families build a home

During Dinner and Discourse on Feb. 2, Campus Ministry brought a group to campus which works to help rebuild communities such as this. The Building Communities Workshop is one of the few programs designed to help these types of communities build better lives. The BCW was started by an architect named Brent Brown. “He wanted to make sure that everyone had environmentally friendly housing,” said Luis Gonzales, community liaison for BCW.
“Dolphin Heights has struggled with high rates of crime and prostitution,” said Gonzales. Now that the times are getting better, these residents are in need of better houses and a better education. The BCW program relies solely on donations and grants from the government. The people involved in the program design, build and provide education for these low income families. These houses are made so that families can afford and continue living in them. Since those bad times, the crime rates have gone down by double digits. “God willing, we will start building by the end of February,” Gonzales said.

Dallas Escorts: Favorite hangout disappointing 30 years later

When we arrived, I was horrified by the garbage everywhere. I thought someone’s garbage can must have spilled and been blown around, even into the river. That was nothing compared to the foul-mouthed people (some were teenagers) transacting what could’ve been both a drug deal and prostitution. They appeared to have a semi-permanent residence there among the trees.
