Hector Deleon, 47, of 215 Sherman St., Detroit Lakes, has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony soliciting prostitution, ages 16-18.
On Jan. 2 a teenage girl and her mother went to the Becker County Sheriff’s Department to report a harassing text message from Deleon, in which he allegedly offered the girl $25 for oral sex.
Officers talked to Deleon and he allegedly admitted sending the text message. His phone number allegedly matched that phone from which the message was sent.
Deleon appeared Jan. 5 before District Judge Joe Evans, who set cash bail at $2,500 or bond at $20,000, with standard conditions of release. His next court appearance is set for Jan. 25.
