Dallas Strip Clubs: STRANGE de JIM’S ZINGERS COLLECTION – JULY 29 2009

Stephen Colbert: “The Amazing Racism: What is the state of racism in America? I’m going to go with Alabama.” “Our parent company Viacom’s profits fell 32%, possibly because of the costly inoculations on ‘Rock of Love.’”
Conan O’Brien: Conan had William Shatner read Sarah Palin’s actual tweets as poetry.
“Glenn Beck of Fox News says Obama is a racist. Every time you watch Glenn Beck it’s easier to hate white men. But Obama’s having Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley to the White House for a beer. He’ll serve Budweiser, the Martin Luther King of Beers.” “A woman was arrested for running an illegal strip club in her garage. For an extra fee you could step into the champagne tool shed.” “A man was arrested for the second time for having sex with a horse. He just couldn’t take neigh for an answer.”

DALLAS — Clean up or pay up — that’s the mandate given to targeted Dallas apartments to help reduce crime.
Dallas police identified 31 complexes that span across the city. Police say these apartments have some of the worst and most frequent crimes.
There are 1,400 apartment complexes in Dallas, but the city has singled out 31 as having the highest amount of crime per capita.
Drugs, prostitution and lax tenant background checks are just some of the problems that landed the Parkmore Apartments on Dallas’ Crime Reduction list.
“I feel bad… I feel bad that I’m on that list. I really do, because I feel it could have been prevented a long time ago,” said Parkmore manager Kathy Beavers, who was brought in three months ago to try and get things in order.

There is no “I” in team, as Lance Armstrong noted via Twitter this week in a missive aimed at teammate and Tour de France winner Alberto Contador, but there is in acrimony. . . .
We’ve not seen the last of Brett Favre, who will be featured in an upcoming TV commercial poking fun at his now legendary indecisiveness as he waffles over a big-ticket purchase. . . .
The Minnesota Vikings probably won’t find it amusing. . . .
Was it a Bush Push — figuratively, not literally — that led to Reggie Bush’s split with Kim Kardashian? . . .
Kevin Provencher, a now-suspended New Hampshire Union-Leader sportswriter who was charged this week with running a prostitution ring, was a beat reporter who covered the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings’ American Hockey League affiliate. . . .

It is the story of Jean Valjean, a man who goes to a prison work yard for stealing bread to feed his sister’s ailing son. After twenty years, he is released but finds himself shunned and cast out as a convict by the decent folk. Resentful and desperate, he steals from a kindly bishop who takes him in for a night. The bishop’s generosity and forgiveness shame Valjean into devoting himself to being a good man and succeeding by honest means. Hunted by prison guard Javert, Valjean hides his past and rises to the top of bourgeois society. Javert won’t let him forget, though — once a criminal, always thus, and Valjean is haunted by the question, “Who am I?” Is he the thief, the prisoner, the convict, the mayor, the wealthy business owner, the adoptive father to a girl left orphaned by one of his workers? Set against the backdrop of the French revolution, class morality provides another layer of meaning.
Never were these themes, along with sex, despair, prostitution, …

From what I’ve gathered reading the news the transition was a fairly painless one for most of you. I figured now that the waters had calmed it was a good time to upgrade my own modest home theater. Erotic Los Angeles
Although it was smaller than other conventions of its kind, I’d say the entire show was a good turnout for the companies who were there. Like other businesses in the current economy, the adult entertainment industry isn’t enjoying the same kind of success it has in the past, but it’s important for trade shows like this one to educate buyers, retailers, and their audiences. The major companies want you to know that they’re coming up with better product for their consumers all the time. Read More
