Dallas Strip Clubs: STRANGE de JIM’S ZINGERS COLLECTION – JULY 29 2009

Stephen Colbert: “The Amazing Racism: What is the state of racism in America? I’m going to go with Alabama.” “Our parent company Viacom’s profits fell 32%, possibly because of the costly inoculations on ‘Rock of Love.’”
Conan O’Brien: Conan had William Shatner read Sarah Palin’s actual tweets as poetry.
“Glenn Beck of Fox News says Obama is a racist. Every time you watch Glenn Beck it’s easier to hate white men. But Obama’s having Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley to the White House for a beer. He’ll serve Budweiser, the Martin Luther King of Beers.” “A woman was arrested for running an illegal strip club in her garage. For an extra fee you could step into the champagne tool shed.” “A man was arrested for the second time for having sex with a horse. He just couldn’t take neigh for an answer.”

Crime-ridden Dallas apartments given mandates

By CRAIG CIVALE / WFAA-TV
DALLAS — Clean up or pay up — that’s the mandate given to targeted Dallas apartments to help reduce crime.
Dallas police identified 31 complexes that span across the city. Police say these apartments have some of the worst and most frequent crimes.
There are 1,400 apartment complexes in Dallas, but the city has singled out 31 as having the highest amount of crime per capita.
Drugs, prostitution and lax tenant background checks are just some of the problems that landed the Parkmore Apartments on Dallas’ Crime Reduction list.
“I feel bad… I feel bad that I’m on that list. I really do, because I feel it could have been prevented a long time ago,” said Parkmore manager Kathy Beavers, who was brought in three months ago to try and get things in order.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Manny Ramirez is old news

There is no “I” in team, as Lance Armstrong noted via Twitter this week in a missive aimed at teammate and Tour de France winner Alberto Contador, but there is in acrimony. . . .
We’ve not seen the last of Brett Favre, who will be featured in an upcoming TV commercial poking fun at his now legendary indecisiveness as he waffles over a big-ticket purchase. . . .
The Minnesota Vikings probably won’t find it amusing. . . .
Was it a Bush Push — figuratively, not literally — that led to Reggie Bush’s split with Kim Kardashian? . . .
Kevin Provencher, a now-suspended New Hampshire Union-Leader sportswriter who was charged this week with running a prostitution ring, was a beat reporter who covered the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings’ American Hockey League affiliate. . . .

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Theater review: Les Miserables School Edition

It is the story of Jean Valjean, a man who goes to a prison work yard for stealing bread to feed his sister’s ailing son. After twenty years, he is released but finds himself shunned and cast out as a convict by the decent folk. Resentful and desperate, he steals from a kindly bishop who takes him in for a night. The bishop’s generosity and forgiveness shame Valjean into devoting himself to being a good man and succeeding by honest means. Hunted by prison guard Javert, Valjean hides his past and rises to the top of bourgeois society. Javert won’t let him forget, though — once a criminal, always thus, and Valjean is haunted by the question, “Who am I?” Is he the thief, the prisoner, the convict, the mayor, the wealthy business owner, the adoptive father to a girl left orphaned by one of his workers? Set against the backdrop of the French revolution, class morality provides another layer of meaning.
Never were these themes, along with sex, despair, prostitution, …

Samsung B650 series 40″ 1080p 120hz LCD TV Digital television is finally here for all of us in the US. From what I’ve gathered reading the news the transition was a fairly painless one for most of you. I figured now that the waters had calmed it was a good time to upgrade my own modest home theater. I did my homework and spent some time looking at sets at the store before deciding to purchase the Samsung LN40B650. The B650 series is available in 32, 37, 40, 46, 55 inch screen sizes. Read More
Erotic Los Angeles
Although it was smaller than other conventions of its kind, I’d say the entire show was a good turnout for the companies who were there. Like other businesses in the current economy, the adult entertainment industry isn’t enjoying the same kind of success it has in the past, but it’s important for trade shows like this one to educate buyers, retailers, and their audiences. The major companies want you to know that they’re coming up with better product for their consumers all the time. Read More

Readers push back against George Bush’s library and Cesar Chavez’s exclusion.

Pushed Out
Hello! Hello! Last time I checked, SMU was located in Dallas — spelled D-A-L-L-A-S — not Houston — spelled H-O-U-S-T- O-N ["Getting Schooled," by Matt Pulle, July 2]. Bush has been out of office for more than five months, and your liberal rag just can’t stop the bashing. This time it is about a library in D-A-L-L-A-S. Don’t you have some sister liberal rag up I-45 that can do the Bush bashing for the D-A-L-L-A-S area? I don’t recall any articles from your paper when the combination Clinton Presidential Library/Massage Parlor was being built somewhere in Arkansas. Our motto: “Happy Finish, Guaranteed.” Please leave the D-A-L-L-A-S Bush bashing to your sister paper.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Limbaugh Blasts Obama’s Reaction to Gates Arrest

So I’ve long thought that there’s a chip on the shoulder here, and that there’s a little anger out there at the country based on who his mentors, associates, all that were. Gates was not ’stopped.’ This was not a profiling case. Let’s review what happened. To the best of my knowledge, a neighbor sees Gates . . . A friend and driver of the car, in addition to Gates, tried to get in the house. Gates and one other person. And some neighbor said, Whoa, what was that? That doesn’t look right. They called the police. My first reaction would be to thank the neighbor for looking out for me. But I guarantee you the neighbor is also going to be, before this is all over, a racist. In Cambridge now. We’re talking Harvard, Cambridge!
Limbaugh found it implausible that police in the liberal community of Cambridge would treat a black elderly man with disrespect. He likened the escalating media uproar over the case to the one-sided coverage of the discredited rape of a stripper by members of the Duke lacrosse team.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Melissa Rycroft, Tye Strickland, Kendra Wilkinson, Amber Campisi …

Watching former Hugh Hefner girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson’s reality show, Kendra, is like eating peanut M&M’s – no nutrition, completely unsatisfying and yet impossible to stop.
Dallas-raised Playboy Playmate Amber Campisi (Miss February 2005), daughter of restaurateur Corky Campisi, is all over the first season as a roommate in Kendra’s LA home.
Amber also served as a bridesmaid for Kendra’s recent wedding to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett at – where else? – the Playboy Mansion.
So here’s the good news: Kendra has scored big ratings and E! has renewed it for a second season.
The bad news: Due to her blossoming pregnancy, Kendra is removing the stripper pole from her house. This is the same pole that her grandmother gave a spin in Episode 8, where Amber served as bartender for Kendra and Hank’s first dinner party.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Midvale eyes racy businesses

The council is expected to approve the new sexually-oriented businesses ordinance next month.
The main ordinance change, Hall said, is defining a sexually-oriented business:
» More than 10 percent of the store’s retail floor at that location is used for sex toys, among other items. (Lingerie is not considered a sexually-oriented product.)
» More than 25 percent of the business’ gross revenue comes from sexually-oriented products at the locale.
There is no totally nude dancing “anytime, anywhere” in a commercial establishment, said Hall, who started working on such ordinances for other cities nine years ago.
Also, ordinance changes will include escort services as sexually-oriented businesses that already must comply with several regulations, such as having written contracts saved for a year and an office with an employee on duty during escort working hours.
