Dallas Strip Clubs: Dancer charged with assault

June 16, 2009 5:08 a.m.
A male dancer has been arrested after allegedly taking a woman into the basement of an Etobicoke strip club and sexually assaulting her.
Police believe she might not be the only victim.
The incident occurred at the Foxxes Den, a club in the west wing of the House of Lancaster on the Queensway.
The 31-year-old woman was at the bar with friends Saturday night and the party stayed into the small hours of the next morning.
About 2:30 a.m., a dancer led her into the club’s basement, where he sexually assaulted her, police said. The woman told her friends, who called police.
Bar staff were reluctant to talk about the alleged assault yesterday. A man who identified himself as the manager of the House of Lancaster said the Foxxes Den operates only on weekends.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Pacman Jones Arrest Record: His Greatest Hits

I also love how press releases always say nightclub, but we all know it was a strip club. How tame was it that all he got busted for was vandalism? Grade: C-

The grand-daddy of Pacman’s charges, this was the one that got him kicked out of the league. Jones was in the middle of a fight and a shooting. Allegations were that while he was in the club, he was “making it rain” on the strippers with over $80,000 (hopefully not all in singles), and knocking strippers‘ heads against the bar while saying that he was going to kill one of the employees.

Pacman seemed to graduate from spitting, getting accused of sucker-punching a woman in the face at the Body Tap Strip Club. Jones claimed that he just misunderstood the name of the club. Also, the rules for insulting Pacman just changed from “cover your face” to “duck and run like hell.” Grade: C+

If the Cowboys really want to bring Pacman back, they better put one giant clause in his contract about getting arrested. And ban him from strip clubs. And other “nightclubs.” And bars—really any place that sells alcohol.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Dallas homicide detectives stumble upon drug stash

They knocked because they were looking for a car that was evidence in a murder. Imagine the surprise of Dallas police homicide detectives this morning when, as someone opened the door, they noticed more than 200 pounds of marijuana inside.
They were investigating the May 28 murder of 28-year-old Armando Ochoa Santiago. Police say he was shot after a bar fight over a stripper outside the Palace Cabaret near Mesquite. Soon afterward, police arrested a 19-year-old illegal immigrant named Ceasar Guerra on a murder charge.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Giraffes, Monkeys and Lepperts … Oh, Yeah, and a Strip Club VP

What do we have in common with Mayor Leppert? Ties to the Dallas Gentlemens Club, of course.Sure, we haven’t always been on the same page as Mayor Tom Leppert, but one thing we apparently agree upon is there’s no shame in accepting cash from people or businesses otherwise shunned by the masses. When we found a strip club’s vice president among the sponsors of Leppert’s fund-raiser and 55th birthday bash tomorrow night at the Dallas Zoo, our differences melted away, if only for a moment.

Our research found that Shaddox was previously the vice president of Burch Management, which owns the majority of the strip clubs in Dallas and is the Observer’s largest ad account. We then found him linked by address to the Dallas Gentlemens Club, and a woman at the club told us Shaddox could be reached at “the corporate office,” giving us a phone number to Club West Management in Addison.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Burlesque Shows Us the Importance of Anticipation

These days, however, you log onto XTube (think YouTube, but dirty), pick your fetish, and find hundreds of options that cut right to the extremely graphic, sometimes distressingly clinical chase.
You could make an argument that there’s a lot to be said for the widespread democratization of sexuality. Indeed, one of the things I admire about XTube is that it shows that everyone can be sexy, even if “mainstream” society has rejected them.
But I also think that as a culture we need to find a more happy medium between the graphic and the puritanical. The act of burlesque reminds us of the simple glories of taking your time and allowing anticipation to build before you deliver the proverbial money shot.
Here’s hoping there are a few more young people out there willing to embrace such seemingly antiquated ideals, because these are essential life lessons that you can’t learn on a stripper pole.

Dallas Escorts: Sabbatini joins rare Texas air after Nelson victory

15. Stat of the week: Through five holes in Saturday’s third round at the Corning Classic, Eunjung Yi was 6-under-par, thanks to eagles on the par-4 opening hole and the par-5 second and fifth with a pair of pars sprinkled in. While it’s hardly shocking that Yi couldn’t keep up that pace — that would equate to a score of, ahem, 21-under 51 for the round — it should be considered a disappointment that she finished with just one birdie and four bogeys, playing her final 13 holes in 3-over-par for a benign total of 69.
16. Big hullaballoo on the Internet this past week surrounding this Time.com feature, in which the company Play Golf Designs is suggested to be “some kind of golf-escort service.” Not even close, says founder Nisha Sadekar, who was incensed by the piece. Instead, PGD offers golfers a chance to interact with top-level LPGA and Futures Tour professionals on the course; there’s nothing untoward about it by any means.

Dallas Escorts: Feds bust alleged money laundering scheme

PLANO, TX — A federal grand jury has indicted 16 North Texans on money laundering charges relating to a car dealership.
U.S. Attorney John M. Bales of the Eastern District of Texas says the dealership’s owner is among those indicted Thursday.
Bales says 54-year-old Richard Alan Arledge of McKinney allegedly used his Suzuki car dealership and financing company to allow drug dealers and those who promote prostitution to buy luxury automobiles with illegal income.
The government also says that in some instances the vehicle’s title was placed in the names of third parties to conceal the source of payment and true ownership.
Arledge denied the allegations Friday. He says he’s an honest businessman.

Dallas Escorts: The South(side) Rises Again

So he spends his days supervising the stripping of old wooden window frames and the buffing of hardwood floors, creating loft apartments in a 1911 warehouse with 16-foot-high ceilings and concrete walls and floors. And getting the washing machines fixed. And, in the process, helping rejuvenate a neighborhood that has been dormant for decades.
Around the corner from Vanston’s Sawyer and Joyslin buildings (Vanston swears the latter, like seemingly half the historic buildings in Fort Worth, was at one time a brothel) is a vacant building that shows how tricky the historic renovation business can be. The city built the Fort Worth Recreation Center in 1927 as a gymnasium and auditorium. After the city sold it in 1955, the building, which looks like an old airplane hangar, was converted into a factory and warehouse. An automotive parts distributor was the last to use it, moving out in the late ’90s.

Dallas Escorts: ‘Hawthorne’ and ‘Nurse Jackie’ give a different view of nursing

… When Edie attached herself to a nurse project, that hit Hollywood like wildfire,” said Liz Brixius, 45, who rewrote a surreal, partially animated pilot script with partner Linda Wallem into the grittier, blue-collar comedy that became Nurse Jackie. “Jackie has her own code . . . and gets the job done. If Dirty Harry were a nurse in her 40s, he’d be Jackie Peyton.”
She’s definitely not Florence Nightingale
There’s a lot about Nurse Jackie that nurses like Summers might not admire.
Addicted to painkillers, Falco’s Peyton is sleeping with the hospital’s pharmacist. She also practices a form of frontier justice in the ER, forging a young man’s signature on an organ donor card after his death and flushing the severed ear of a man who brutally assaults prostitutes down the toilet.
