Dallas Adult Entertainment: Dallas, Lieutenant Eve: A real woman’s hero

Few authors of women’s action-adventure fiction are able to create female heroes as likable and tough as Nora Roberts’ Lieutenant Eve Dallas, lead character in her “in Death” series of futuristic detective novels. Robert’s writes her “in Death” series under the pseudomym of J.D. Robb, giving her books that old-school feeling like her books were written by a cranky former cop with a few too many stories left to tell.
Detective Dallas is a New York Detective in the year 2050 or so, when society has gone completely techno and junk food is available only through the black market.   Her government now pays stay-at-home parents a salary, prostitution is regulated by the government and cars can drive on autopilot. Many parts of Dallas’ world sound perfect but evne i her futuristic new York uptopia there is stil no shortage of crime.

Dallas Massage Parlors: NBA Draft Talk – OKC Thunder Need Blake Griffin…

Although this year’s NBA Draft won’t be as exciting – or as painful – to watch for KU fans as last year’s draft when everybody but the laundry guy was drafted off a Championship team, for Big 12 fans there is plenty excitement again as for the third draft in a row, a Big 12 stud will be drafted in the top 2 picks, this year being the ManBeast, Oklahoma’s Blake Griffin.
The last two years have seen Kevin Durant and Michael Beasley both go #2, and while I furiously campaigned at local gyms and massage parlors, err, barber shops, both times that each should go number 1, each time it fell on deaf ears because nobody outside of Big 12 Country cares about the Big 12….
That said, Durant has more than justified why he should have gone to Portland and KU alum Kevin Pritchard is still wondering how he ended up with a 50-year-old man disguised as a 7-footer who calls himself Gre …

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Godspell Continues at CAST

The writers of Godspell have left the setting for the musical up to the director of each production and Director Susan Loffredi has set the production in a New York City Park with the background of Ground Zero complete with an eight-foot high by 20-foot long chain link fence in front of which a group of talented young adults will take the audience on a journey that will be long remembered.
“The music in this show is wonderful,” said Loffredi. “There’s a great mix of ballads and rock and every song is so well done. This is a cast of wonderful voices and the pit is excellent. The musical includes great songs such as “Day By Day,” “Light Of The World,” “Turn Back Oh Man,” and the lively number, “All For The Best,” done by Jesus and Judas.
As the parables are told, these talented young adults portray a variety of characters including the jealous son whose brother receives his father’s blessing and gifts, a group of sheep and goats, the man badly beaten and ignored by the rich man, the prostitute who was to be stoned and the animals loading onto Noah’s ark among others.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: The Most Dangerous Neighborhoods in Houston, Not As Dangerous As …

But you can also search neighborhoodscout.com’s database by city, which is what we did. Most people look for the safest areas with this function, but creeps like us use “advanced search” to reverse the order of safety from highest to lowest. Here are five mini-Meccas of H-Town mayhem…
1. Houston’s worst statistical neighborhood was something of a surprise: Top dishonors went to Airline Drive and North Main from the Loop up to E. 40th Street. I say “something of a surprise” as I know first-hand how bad that neighborhood can be. On David Beebe’s and my Sole of Houston slog through there last December, things were decidedly dicey. A teen-aged prostitute begged to used my cellphone one minute, and the next, a man too drunk to speak in complete sentences attempted to sell us crack, and then wanted to fight us when we refused to buy it. He only staggered off when a cop passed by on Airline.

Dallas Adult Entertainment: Kahn or con? A Las Vegas Chicken Ranch tale

The Chicken Ranch – Where Gentlemen Come to Relax and Enjoy.
And I don’t mean Amir!
This may not get past the editors out in Denver. It is a gratuitous story about a famous brothel outside of Las Vegas, a whole lot of money and the entreprenurial spirit of a fine Dallas citizen.
About 20 years ago I met a wealthy young man named Bruce Kahn. He hit it big in night clubs and a few skank topless clubs in the image-is-everything capitol of the world, Dallas, Texas..His money-makers were Brio in Old Town and Etc. at North Park.
At the time I put closed-circuit fights into the bars so I had an in to Kahn, and we had a few mutual friends. I once had him come by the late fight manager Dave Gorman’s gym in Fort Worth where former world champions Donald Curry, Gene Hatcher and Stevie Cruz trained. Kahn couldn’t buy the Dallas Cowboys but I thought he might be interested in buying the contracts of a few promising middleweights.

By GROMER JEFFERS Jr. / The Dallas Morning News
gjeffers@dallasnews.com
AUSTIN – There was a time when neighborhoods in northwest Dallas were besieged by massage parlors, bathhouses and rogue bars that served as fronts for prostitution and even the trafficking and exploitation of minors.
Things were so wide open that even the headquarters for the Boy Scouts of America had clear views of the businesses that promoted relaxation, massages, sensual body baths and much more.

Dallas Strip Clubs: Dallas Cowboys’ Martellus Bennett seeks balance of fun, production

Yet, throughout the season, Bennett, a physical specimen at 6-foot-6, 265 pounds, started to flash his potential. He finished the season with 20 receptions for 283 yards and four touchdowns, equaling Witten’s touchdown total.
That doesn’t mean Bennett buried his personality. That would be impossible.
When he finished the second of two sun-scorched practices to start a three-day minicamp Monday, Bennett removed his helmet to reveal several glistening new neck tattoos and a thick-and-curly beard in need of a trim.
Growing a beard in June?
“I’m growing a bin Laden,” Bennett said without hesitation.
So maybe his self-censorship needs work. The Cowboys are willing to live and laugh with Bennett as long as he continues to practice with the same vigor as he tweets.
“Twitter is one of my favorite things to do,” Bennett said. “Facebook, MySpace, I pretty much do it all. I mean, it’s better than being out at a strip club all night.”
